Welcome to 7th Grade Science! My goal is to engage you all in scientific inquiry through labs and projects that explore the importance of science through technology. It is my goal that we create a learning community of collaboration in order to achieve success and become future scholars and citizens. I look forward to getting to know each of you this school year!

Grading Breakdown

Learning Targets: Grades are based on mastery assessments of meeting grade level CA Science Framework standards and the Next Generation Science Standards. The Learning Targets will be assessed periodically. Learning Targets for each assignment will be posted on Schoology.

Materials needed for class: Pencil, Composition Book, and Chromebook.

Digital Learning

Most lessons will be posted on schoology.  Students will also be using web-based resources to complete assignments.  Students will need to regularly check schoology for assignments and scores. Parents and students can keep track of assignments by checking schoology.  Grades are updated in schoology. A digital calendar is available for students and parents to keep track of daily assignments.
