Residential Families Application Process

RESIDENTIAL FAMILY?

Emerson is considered your "home" school if you live within the residential boundaries of Emerson. You student automatically qualifies for enrollment. You must complete enrollment paperwork in March, but you are NOT required to complete the the LAUSD Affiliated Charter Application. Emerson supports 100% the residential students from the following elementary schools in it's feeder pattern: Westwood Charter EL, Fairburn EL, Warner EL, Roscomare EL, and Saturn EL. Students attending these schools on permit are excluded.

If you plan to enroll your child as a residential student for the upcoming school year, please complete the Intent to Enroll form below. You are still required to complete the LAUSD enrollment application, however this brief form will add you to our mailing list to receive important information. Refer to the information on the left if you are NOT a residential family.

 

 

When enrolling at Emerson you will need the following documents: 

♦  Birth Certificate of enrolling child(ren) 

♦  Utility Bill (electric, gas, water) or official government mail verifying your address.

♦  Driver’s License or ID card

♦  Completed Health Card

♦  Immunization Record

♦  A report card/transcript from your current school

♦  G.A.T.E., IEP and/or 504 Plan if applicable

 

**Please note that if you submit an Intent to Enroll Form and Emerson is not your home school your form will automatically be deleted.
